Give boots a second half. Find the next pair for your child.
Football boots are often outgrown long before they are worn out. Our TDYFC Boot Swap is a simple way for families to pass on good-quality boots their children no longer need — and help other players find an affordable pair for the season ahead.

How it works?
Thank you for helping TDYFC reduce waste, support families and keep children playing football.
1. Tell us what you need
Complete the boot swap form to let us know the UK boot size your child needs.
2. Come along to the boot swap
We will hold a Boot Swap session at Colets Health Club on a Saturday. Bring your child if possible, so they can try boots on and find the best fit.
Date and time: to be confirmed.
3. Find a pair
We will have donated boots available for families to look through by size. We cannot guarantee a match, but we hope to find a suitable pair for as many players as possible.
If you are able to make a contribution when taking a pair, we suggest an optional £5 donation per pair to TDYFC. No child will be excluded because of cost.
Supporting the club
What boots can be donated?
We welcome football boots in all children’s UK sizes, from approximately UK 4K to UK 13, provided they are:
- Clean and dry
- In safe, playable condition
- Free from splits, loose soles or damaged studs
- Suitable for football — firm-ground, artificial-grass, soft-ground, astro turf or indoor boots are all welcome
Clearly labelled with their UK size, where possible
Please do not donate boots that are damaged beyond safe use.
A few important notes
- The boot swap is for TDYFC members and families.
- Requests are subject to donated stock, so we cannot guarantee a particular size, brand or boot type.
- We may contact you to clarify details or arrange collection.
- Please check the fit and condition of any boots before your child wears them for training or matches
- Boot types and stud rules vary by surface and league; parents and carers remain responsible for ensuring boots are appropriate for their child’s activity.
